Steamed Vegetable Quiche
Serves: 10
Preparation time approx. 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 packs (500g) short crust pastry
- 4 portions Birds Eye Foodservice Steam Bag Vegetables
- 6 eggs
- 300ml milk
- 200g grated cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped herbs (parsley, chives or dill)
- Seasoning
- Butter to grease the tin
- Flour for rolling out pastry
To prepare:
- Pre-Heat oven to 190ºC/gas mark 5.
- Butter a quiche tin, roll out pastry and line tin.
- Blind bake pastry for ten minutes, let cool.
- Mix eggs and milk, and season.
- Fill quiche with vegetables and egg mixture.
- Top with grated cheese and bake in oven until golden, for approx. 30 min.
